SiLC Nusajaya participated in MIDA’s trade missions to Europe in April 2009. The multiple-stop mission had the objective of attracting investors from European countries to Malaysia while enhancing bilateral trade and investment ties between Malaysia and Europe.

Trade and investment seminars were held in covered Frankfurt, Milan and London and participated by owners of manufacturing industries, potential investors, businessmen and entrepreneurs alike. Individual Business Meetings were also organised to further encourage business collaborations between seminar participants and the Malaysian delegates.

UEM Land participated in the trade mission together with IRDA, JSIC and Johor Corporation to promoting opportunities within Iskandar Malaysia. A number of meetings with keen interest especially in the education, logistics and manufacturing sectors. Companies, especially in the UK, are evaluating possible investment destinations for areas of lower production cost or for expansion and new market growth areas.
